Betsson Group is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted in four categories at the Global Gaming Awards EMEA 2026, recognising the Group’s performance across product, responsibility, and commercial execution in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
The nominations cover Sports Betting Operator of the Year, Online Casino of the Year, Affiliate Program of the Year, and Social Responsibility of the Year, reflecting the breadth of Betsson Group’s operations and its continued focus on sustainable, regulated growth.
In addition, Betsson Group CEO Jesper Svensson has been shortlisted for Executive of the Year, recognising his leadership during a period of strong operational delivery, strategic clarity, and record financial performance for the Group.
Last year, Betsson Group was awarded Social Responsibility of the Year award and named Runner-Up for Online Sports Betting Operator of the Year, underlining the consistency of its approach to responsible gaming, innovation, and long-term value creation.

The Global Gaming Awards recognise the strongest performers in the gaming industry over the past 12 months, with a particular focus on excellence and progress within the EMEA region. The awards are widely regarded as one of the most trusted and respected benchmarks in the industry, with winners selected through a transparent and independently adjudicated process.
Voting is carried out by a panel of 50 senior industry executives, with strict safeguards in place to manage conflicts of interest. Judges do not participate in voting for any categories where a conflict exists. In this context, Betsson Group’s CEO, Jesper Svensson, contributed his extensive industry expertise to the judging panel while being excluded from any categories involving Betsson Group.
The winners will be announced during an exclusive ceremony on 19 January 2026 in Barcelona, held at the end of Day 1 of ICE 2026. During the same week, Betsson Group will also be represented at the International Gaming Awards, where the company has received 12 nominations, as well as the European iGaming Awards, with a further 10 nominations.
