Certifications and ESG ratings
Betsson's operations are regularly audited and certified from a sustainability perspective by reputable third parties. To promote transparency and commit to raising sustainability standards, the Group partakes in the Nasdaq ESG portal and publishes its ESG rating from Morgan Stanley Capital International, MSCI. Betsson has also won a number of international awards for its efforts within the area.
Nasdaq ESG Transparency Partner
Betsson has been certified as a ‘Nasdaq ESG Transparency Partner’, participating in the Nasdaq ESG Portal. This certification signals Betsson's engagement in market transparency and in raising environmental standards.
MSCI ESG rating
Betsson was awarded an ESG-rating of AAA, the highest level, from the independent rating institute MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International).
International recognition
In 2025, Betsson was recognised for its continued commitment to sustainability and responsibility, winning Safer Gambling Operator of the Year at the International Gaming Awards (fifth consecutive year), Social Responsibility of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards EMEA, Best Sustainability Innovation at the European iGaming Awards, and European ESG Initiative of the Year at the EGR Europe Awards. This followed a strong 2024, during which the Group received 43 awards across key areas including ESG, customer service, and leadership.
