Certifications and ESG ratings
Betsson's operations are regularly audited and certified from a sustainability perspective by reputable third parties. To promote transparency and commit to raising sustainability standards, the Group partakes in the Nasdaq ESG portal and publishes its ESG rating from Morgan Stanley Capital International, MSCI. Betsson has also won a number of international awards for its efforts within the area.
MSCI ESG rating
Betsson was awarded an ESG-rating of AAA, the highest level, from the independent rating institute MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International).
Nasdaq ESG Transparency Partner
Betsson has been certified as a ‘Nasdaq ESG Transparency Partner’, participating in the Nasdaq ESG Portal. This certification signals Betsson's engagement in market transparency and in raising environmental standards.
ISO Certifications
Betsson holds three ISO certifications and two independent assessments for the Group's Italian operations, which cover the Malta offices - the Group's largest location. The values underpinning these standards - from quality and environmental care to diversity and social responsibility - are deeply embedded across Betsson Group. In addition, Betsson also holds a group-wide ISO certification for Information Security.
ESG Seal
The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has awarded Betsson their ESG Seal for the second consecutive year, in recognition of the Group’s commitment to transparency and responsible business practices aligned with the MGA ESG Code of Good Practice.
International recognition
In 2025, Betsson continued to receive strong international recognition for its commitment to sustainability, responsibility, and responsible gaming. During the year, the Group was recognised with 42 industry awards, including Gold recognition for ESG Strategy at the EGR Operator Awards, European ESG Initiative of the Year at the EGR Europe Awards, and Best Sustainability Innovation (Operator) at the European iGaming Awards.
Betsson’s responsible gaming and social responsibility efforts were further acknowledged through awards such as the Safer Gambling Award at the International Gaming Awards, Social Responsibility of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards EMEA, and the Martín Fierro Award in Argentina for a Responsible and Legal Gaming awareness campaign developed in partnership with Boca Juniors.
