Betsson Group has revealed the winners of its 2025 Game of the Year Awards, following a global player voting process that generated more than 51,000 votes across 10 markets. Now in its eighth consecutive year, the awards continue to recognise the most popular and innovative games from Betsson Group’s casino portfolio, as voted for by players themselves.

Originally launched in the Nordics in 2019, the Game of the Year Awards have since evolved into a global initiative, celebrating both player favourites and the suppliers behind them. Winning titles were awarded dedicated trophies in recognition of their achievement.
The 2026 edition recognised excellence across six categories, spanning slot and live casino experiences, covering new launches, exclusive content and established titles. Based on the final results, Pragmatic Play emerged as the most awarded supplier of the year, securing wins in 3 categories.

2025 Game of the Year Award Winners:
- (Exclusive) Game of the Year: Joker’s Jewels Jackpot Play (Pragmatic Play)
- New Game of the Year: Joker’s Jewels Wild (Pragmatic Play)
- Best Slot Series: Megaways
- Jackpot Game of the Year: Joker’s Jewels Jackpot Play (Pragmatic Play)
- Exclusive Live Casino Game: Boca Juniors Blackjack – Evolution (Evolution Gaming)

The results were determined through a structured voting process, with players selecting their favourites from a curated shortlist of 359 games across the six categories, ensuring a broad and representative snapshot of player preferences across markets.

“The Game of the Year Awards have become an established and highly anticipated tradition for the industry, now marking their eighth consecutive year. They are a celebration of creativity, innovation, and quality across our supplier network, while placing player choice firmly at the centre. The strong engagement from our players once again underlines the importance of these awards, and we congratulate all winners on this recognition,” said Laura Peretta, Head of Supplier Relations at Betsson Group.

As part of the recognition, the winning games will receive prominent placement across Betsson Group’s gaming lobbies throughout 2026, increasing visibility for players until the next Game of the Year Awards.
