Betsson Group will once again host the Sustainability Hub at the upcoming NEXT Summit Valletta, marking the third consecutive year the Group has partnered on this dedicated track.
Taking place on 28 May in Valletta, the Sustainability Hub brings together operators, suppliers, regulators, investors, and advisors to explore how sustainability is shaping the future of the iGaming industry.
As the sector continues to evolve, sustainability is increasingly shaping how companies operate, manage risk, and create long‑term value. This year’s Sustainability Hub is designed to move beyond frameworks and reporting, with a clear focus on execution and how ESG considerations translate into operational efficiency, stronger reputation, and long-term business performance.

Jonna Danlund, Director of ESG at Betsson Group, who will host the Hub, said: “Sustainability is a growing priority across the industry. The key step is ensuring that this ambition translates into meaningful action. Through the Sustainability Hub, we aim to bring together a range of perspectives and focus on practical insights that organisations can apply in their day-to-day operations.”
The agenda features sessions addressing key topics including reputation, responsible gaming, environmental performance, and compliance. Highlights include a fireside chat with Pontus Lindwall, CEO and President of Betsson AB, who will reflect on over 60 years of building and sustaining a successful business in a regulated and fast-changing industry. Other panel discussions examine how the sector is perceived, how responsible gaming is evolving, and how compliance can support long-term competitiveness and growth.
The Sustainability Hub is structured to deliver practical outcomes. Each session is designed to conclude with clear, actionable takeaways, enabling participants to translate insights into concrete steps within their own organisations.
The Sustainability Hub will take place on 28 May at NEXT Summit Valletta. Attendees are invited to join throughout the day. Further details on the agenda and speakers are available via the event website.
