Betsson Greece continues to strengthen its efforts to combat bullying through a series of initiatives focused on awareness, education, and collaboration across sport, business, and society.

As part of this ongoing commitment, Betsson, in collaboration with the Greek Association of Women Entrepreneurs (S.E.G.E.), hosted a seminar at the Olympic Museum of Athens on 29 April 2026. The event formed part of the company’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility programme against bullying, which was launched in December 2025.

Since the launch of the initiative, Betsson has worked alongside organisations from both the sporting and social sectors to promote dialogue, education, and meaningful action aimed at preventing and addressing all forms of bullying.

With the main message:

“Say no to fear.
No to bullying.
We bet we can.”

Betsson organised an event dedicated to awareness, prevention, and meaningful discussion around bullying and mobbing, bringing together representatives from the fields of sport, social action, and business.

Psychologist Stella Argyriou opened the discussion with an insightful presentation on the phenomenon of mobbing in the workplace and in sport, highlighting both its psychological dimensions and practical tools for prevention and response.

The first panel featured Sofia Kligkopoulou, Team Manager of Peristeri Betsson and one of the most prominent figures in Greek women’s basketball, Nikos Deligiannis, coach of the Alimos NAS Betsson women’s water polo team and former international athlete and Lida Tsene, member of the Executive Council of Girl Power. They shared their thoughts and experiences on the role of sport in fostering respect, equality, and inclusion.

In the second panel, Lina Tsaltabasi, President of the Greek Association of Women Entrepreneurs (S.E.G.E.), and Vicky Miliou, HR Manager at Betsson Group, discussed the importance of creating safe work environments, preventing workplace bullying, and meaningfully empowering women in the professional sphere.

At the same time, Betsson and S.E.G.E. presented their collaboration on the implementation of a comprehensive programme for the prevention and management of workplace bullying through educational initiatives, workshops, mentoring, and awareness activities aimed at strengthening equality, safety, and women’s professional development.

As part of the campaign, Betsson and the Hellenic Football Federation (HFF) have also carried out a series of joint initiatives in the field of sport, aiming to promote fair play, respect, and the prevention of bullying at every level of athletics.

Through initiatives such as this, Betsson reaffirms its commitment to investing in actions with meaningful social impact, actively contributing to the creation of an environment with greater respect, acceptance, and equal opportunities for all.

The initiative will continue in June with another seminar, further supporting ongoing efforts to raise awareness, encourage dialogue, and inform the public about the impact of bullying.
